Amado Recital Hall

Amado Recital Hall

The Amado Recital Hall, just off the Main Hall, functions primarily as rehearsal and performance space for the University's Department of Music. However, the space can be reserved by other University and non-University organizations for special events. Decorated with hand-painted imperial lions and thistles (symbols for Scotland), the 120-seat Recital Hall is a carpeted multipurpose space with wood flooring at the front to serve as a stage or presentation area. Music stands, pianos, choral risers and stage risers are available for use in the room upon request. Stackable chairs and portable tables can be arranged as needed for each event. With a conference-style arrangement, the room seats 34 comfortably around a hollow rectangle. With a lecture-style arrangement, the room holds 120 audience members comfortably.
