Well-lit and enclosed in glass, the Silfen Study Center on the plaza level of Williams Hall is a late-night study lounge. Carrels and upholstered benches, Windsor and lounge chairs, make the Center a popular stop for reading the newspaper, reviewing course material, or cramming for final exams. The main doors leading to the Center from the plaza are unlocked during peak hours of activity from Sunday to Thursday and can be unlocked in the evening with your Penn ID Card. The Center is also open on Monday through Friday 7:00am to 10:00pm during the summer. On Friday and Saturday nights, the center is open until 10:00pm with Penn ID Card access. Need coffee? The Penn Student Agencies Café, located at the end of the hallway, is open until 8pm Monday through Thursday and 6pm on Friday. When the munchies strike at 2:00am, vending machines are available one flight down with you Penn ID Card.
